Stocks tumble today

The Dubai Financial Market tumbled by 4.64% today to 1,570. Only 2 stocks rose and 27 fell. Market heavyweight Emaar Properties dropped 7.82%, while other market leader Arabtec lost 7.11%. International Financial Advisor had the day’s biggest loss, tumbling by 10.00%.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Index fell 3.31% today to 2,650. Here also only 2 stocks rose and 30 fell. The decline was led by the Real Estate sector, which fell by 6.59%. Market heavyweight Aldar Properties tumbled 7.80%, while other market leader Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank slumped 5.62%. Finance House had the day’s biggest loss, droping by 9.89%.
