DFM Slips, ADX rises
The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed 0.52% lower at 1,541.80 points. Market Heavyweight Emaar Properties fell by 0.62% and ended at Dhs3.20. Turnover was up today at the DFM by 19% compared to Wednesday. Overall, During the first week of June the DFM Index lost 3.08%.
The ADX General Index closed 0.85% higher at 2,571.06, as oil prices stabilizing above $73 per barrel helped the energy price-sensitive market to sustain momentum. Over this first week of June, the UAE capital’s market declined by 3.48% during the week. Aldar Properties shares went up, ending at Dhs3.16 (up 2.92%).
